Inspections: Recommended, and Your Call
Inspections can be waived on request. For designer shipments, however, we strongly recommend inspection so any damage or discrepancy is identified the moment a piece arrives — not on install day in front of your client.
If you choose to waive inspection, it must be waived for the entire shipment. We don’t waive inspection on a per-item basis within the same shipment.
A Few Policies Worth Knowing
- No-name receiving fee: Shipments that arrive without your business name clearly on the paperwork incur a $30 handling fee for the extra time required to identify and process the delivery. (Tip: list your business name on every PO and packing slip.)
- Storage billing: Storage is billed on the 1st of each month based on on-hand inventory, with a $150/month minimum. First and last months are prorated.
- Delivery out of storage: Scheduled white-glove delivery and install to the job site, billed at crew-based hourly rates (3-hour minimum). See storage & delivery details →
- Basic assembly of standard household items is included unless otherwise specified.
